शुकरासी विष्ठा माने सावकास I

मिष्टांनाची त्यास काय गोडी II

तेवी अभक्तासी आवडे पाखांड I

न लगे त्यां गोड परमार्थ II

श्वानासी भोजन दिले पंचामृत I

तरी त्याचे चित्त हाडावरी II

तुका म्हणे सर्पा पाजिलिया क्षीर I

वमितां विखार विष झाले II

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, an ignorance captivates the attention of an atheist more than GOD and His Realisation.

Illustrating this with meaningful analogies he says, for a pig, faeces is the most delicious food 

A raw bone salivates a dog more than a luscious and fragrant food.

He says, no matter how much milk is fed to a snake, it's venom increases in multifolds."
