मानियेला नाही उधार या बोला I

नाम घेतां मला युक्ती थोडी II

युक्ती थोडी मज दुर्बळाची वाचा I

प्रताप नामाचा बोलावया II

बोलतां पांगल्या श्रुती नेती नेती I

खुंटलिया युक्ती पुढे त्यांच्या II

त्याचा पुढे पार न कळेचि जातां I

पाऊले देखतां ब्रह्मदिकां II

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, my praise of the Name Worship of GOD comes not from the titbits people share but from my own experience of it. It is the Greatness of His Name that makes a wisdomless man like me phrase his glory, while the most authentic, ancient religious text Shruti", or That Which Is Heard" and passed on to generations since time immemorial, also couldn't express GOD to perfection saying " He is neither this not that but is".They could only say, "from it all words fall back and also mind cannot reach it."
