राहाणे ते पायांपाशी I

आणीकां रसी विटोनी II

ऐसा धीर देई मना I

नारायणा विनवितो II

अंतरी तो तुझा वास I

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says,  give me the strength O'GOD Narayan, to seek refuge at Your Feet, for I have had enough of chasing the frivolous material pursuits.

He says, dwell in my heart O GOD Narayan, for only You can subdue lust, anger, greed, temptation and ego, the five major weaknesses of my personality and render them inactive.

He says, I earnestly implore You O'GOD Narayan to save me from going astray, for today I am here, I may not be tomorrow."
