हो का नर अथवा नारी I

ज्यांचा आवडता हरी II

ते मज विठोबा समान I

नमूं आवडी ते जन II

ज्यांचे अंतर निर्मळ I

त्यांचे सबाह्य कोमल II

त्यांचा संग सर्वकाळ I

घडी मज ते मंगळ II

तुका म्हणे प्राण I

काया कुरवंडी करीन II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, I deify those whom GOD Hari is the dearest, no matter what gender they may be.

He says, a good hearted doesn't have to pretend, for his kindness unfolds in each of his endeavors.

He says, most auspicious is the time spent in the company of a Kind Soul and I am fortunate to have this privilege, for blessed are those who go all out to be in the company of the Truly Wise."
