ब्रम्हज्ञान दारी येते काकुलती I

अव्हेरिले संती विष्णुदासी II

रिघे पाहे माजी बळेचि त्याचे घर I

दवडिती दूर म्हणोनिया II

तुका म्हणे येथे न चले सायास I

पडिले उदास त्यांच्या गळा II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the entreaties by the Self Knowledge which comes searching for the devotees of GOD Vishnu are turned down by them, for they find it bereft of the sweetness. The more they push it away, the more it tries to intrude into their lives.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the knowledge of the True Self which is unattainable even with myriad of efforts comes looking only for the Truely Desireless."
