उपाधिवेगळे तुम्ही निर्विकार I
कांहीच संसार तुम्हां नाही II
ऐसे मज करुनि ठेवा नारायणा I
समूळ वासना नूरवावी II
निसंग तुम्हांसी राहणे एकट I
नाही कटकट साहो येत II
तुका म्हणे नाही मिळो येत शिळा I
रंगासी सकळा स्फटिकाची II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, O'GOD, annihilate my desires and make me Pure Stainless and Boundless like You, Who is beyond the realm of repeated sufferings.
He says, remaining in the world but not of the world is just like a quartz crystal which naturally flashes the colours of rainbow, yet remains colouless and transparent."
