जुंतीले घाणा बांधोनि डोळे I
मागे जोडी आर तेणेही पोळे I
चालिलो किती ते न कळे I
दुःखे आरंबळे भूक तान II
एवढे जयाचे निमित्त I
प्रारब्ध क्रियमाण संचित I
ते हे देव मानुनि अनित्य I
न करिती कां नित्य नामस्मरण II
तुका म्हणे न वेचता मोल I
तो हा यासी महाग विठ्ठल I
वेचितां फुकाचेचि बोल I
केवढे खोल अभागिया II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, wake up from the slumber of ignorance and do the Name Worship of GOD as much as possible, for the endless cycle of deaths and rebirths due to man's Karmic Debt is just like round and round goes a blindfolded bull, driving an oil mill. The Bull aches with weariness carrying the burden of yoke and is harshly poked when slowed down.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, One needs to spend nothing to utter GOD Name Vitthal, yet it is so difficult for the One who knows not what his rare human birth is for."
