उपदेश करी विश्वनाथ कानी I
वाराणशी प्राणी मध्ये मरे II
मरणाचे अंती राम म्हणे जरी I
न लगे यमपुरी जावे तयां II
तपासी उत्तम ठाव पै वैकुंठी I
वसे नाम कंठी सर्वकाळ II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Supreme GOD Shiva, presiding over the Holy Abode Kashi, whispers into the right ear of every being dying within its boundaries the Holy "RamNam", and bring emancipation to the dying soul about to depart from his present body.
He says, saved from the torment of repeated sufferings is the One who dies chanting the Holy "RamNam" in his final moments.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, One who chants the Holy"RamNam" with the last breath gets liberated and earns his place in the Supreme Abode Vaikuntha, the Divine Land of Supreme Bliss, forever."
