मायेविण बाळ क्षणभरी न राहे I
न देखता होय कासावीस II
अणिक उदंड बुझविती तरी I
छंद त्या अंतरी माऊलीचा II
नावडती तया बोल आणिकांचे I
देखोनियां नाचे माय दृष्टी II
तुका म्हणे माझी विठ्ठल माऊली I
आणिकांचे बोली चाड नाही II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, his longing for GOD is like the child's intense yearning to be with his mother.
He says, the child becomes edgy not seeing his mother around. No matter how affectionately One looks after him, the child smiles in delight seeing only his mother, for she is his world.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD Vitthal is my mother and but for her nothing matters just like for a child what mother says is the  paramount."
