"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, wake up from your slumber of ignorance O' deluded mind, for in this rare human birth the time slips through our hands like grain of sand, never to return again.
He says, powerless is man who even doesn't know whether the morsel he holds in his hands will ever reach his mouth. And therefore he says, boast not of living long, for man is puppet in the hands of fate and seldom sees the strings.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, fool not yourself of "I am this body" idea for neither this body nor the worldly relations will last forever.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, waste not this rare human birth for chasing frivolous material pursuits, for only here One can delve into the mystery of how different the real he is from the body with which he mistakenly identifies himself."
