उपासा शेवटी अन्नासवे भेटी I
तैसी माझी मिठी पडो पायी II
पुरवी वासना साच सर्व जाणा I
आम्हां नारायणा अंकिताची II
बहूदिसां पुत्रमातेसवे भेटी I
तैसा दाटो पोटी प्रीति उभड II
तुका म्हणे धन कृपणा सोईरे I
यापरि दुसरे न हो आतां II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj describes with beautiful analogies the ardour with which he yearns for GOD Narayan.
He says, his longing for GOD be like the fervour with which a man will savour food after his fasting is over or a deep love felt within the heart when mother and son meet after a long time.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like money is to the miser, let there be nothing for him dearer than GOD, for GOD gives back in multifolds His love which is unconditional, unlimited and complete."
