सुकलिया कोंभा अत्यंत जळधरे I
तेणेच प्रकारे न्याय असे II
न चले पाऊली सांडी गरुडासन I
मनाचे हो मन त्वरेलागी II
तुका म्हणे भूक न साहावे बाळा I
जीवणाची कळा ओढलीसे II
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, he waits for GOD just like a newly sprouted shoot awaits rainshowers. He implores GOD to become mind of his mind so that GOD can reach him quicker than He walking to him or riding to him on eagle.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj describes his longing for GOD to be like soul sinking of a child bereft of food when he is most hungry.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the soul must long for GOD in order to be set aflame by GOD's love. But if the soul cannot yet feel the longing, then it must long for the longing, for it is the greatest gif One can have from GOD."
