"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, even though worldly life revolves around sense gratification, One should not rely much on senses as they are bound to wither as the body ages.
Illustrating with beautiful analogies Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, seeing through mind's eye is better than seeing through eyes which get worn out as time goes by.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, no matter what One does to maintain the lustre of hair, the graying of hair is inevitable part of aging.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, man doesn't realise until it's very late that all his effort of nurturing his body was just a passing phase, for its waning was inevitable with the passage of time. As man ages, his body loses its sheen and the senses follow the suit, for the most debilitating is the ruthless betrayal of the body and senses, his most trusted and what man calls as "his".
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the human body is a great privilege and One must use it as a vehicle to attain Self Realisation which is attainable only in this rare human birth. He says, the emphasis on the nurturing of body should be only to keep the body healthy so that One can practice the Name Worship of GOD as much longer as possible in his precious human birth, his road to Liberation."
