"To live life in ignorance is to be born dead, for not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance is the death of knowledge."
This composition of Sant Tukaram Maharaj is his wake up call to awaken One from the slumber of ignorance of "I am the body" idea. He says, human birth is a rare privilege, a unique opportunity to seek Self Realisation, for among all species man alone is endowed with sense of discrimination which allows him to understand what he needs to do to break out of vicious circle of deaths and rebirths. The Saints through this Ageless Wisdom, not only made others aware of it but also transcended themselves across the ocean of repeated sufferings.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the boat to Liberation stands ready at the bank of river Chandrabhaga with arms akimbo, at the doorstep of Supreme Devotee Pundalik, for just like him, One who absorbs himself in the Name Worship of GOD Vitthal becomes One with Him. He says, this free ride is fruitful only for the Blessed who has an unshakable faith that "Yes, GOD Exists", for only he can make the otherwise impossibility to become possible, the Self Realisation."
