"It is said that "The art of being Wise is the art of knowing what to overlook."
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about outlook of Wise to value content, for content precedes design. The design in the absence of content is not design, it is mere decoration.
Illustrating with beautiful analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, for a Wise, a coconut is meant for its sweet coconut meat while for monkey it is merely a fruit having hard shell. In other words, the eyes are useless when mind is blind. He says, the worst thing is to be born sighted but to lack vision.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, One gets what he deserves. Illustrating with meaningful analogy he says, a delicacy relished by a connoisseur may be a nightmare for a dog who spews it out in a gush.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, mere recitation of verses of Scriptures aloud serves no purpose, for what One understands and implements accordingly matters most. He says, it is possible only when One knows what he is looking for, information or Wisdom."
