मुदलामध्ये पड़े तोटा I
ऐसा खोटा उदीम II
आणिकांची का लाज नाही I
आळस जिंही जिंतिले II
एके सति सारिखी वित्ते I
हानि हिते वेगळाली II
तुका म्हणे हित धरा I
नव्हे पूरा गांवढळ II

"On the journey of Self Realisation, nothing is more dangerous than the sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about ignorance which compels One to stick to the notion of "I am the body" idea which instills a false sense of Doership. He says, misapprehensions are enchanting only to the ignorant mind. To get rid of ignorance is to change, which needs a conscious effort, for it is a sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, One must know what is good for him, to make a conscious effort to get it. Among all human beings, few know the worth of this rare human birth, as an opportunity to seek Liberation. This is similar to people in marketplace where each possesses capital, but their profit or loss depends on how they make use of their resources, consciously or carelessly.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, to know that you do not know is the best, to think you know when you do not is a disease. Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free of it."
