"It is said that "A monkey's transformed body weds the human mind. Mind is a monkey - this, the truth profound."
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about our mind, which is just like a crazy monkey that is always dying to escape the moment or in other words to escape the reality. He says, We are all lies waiting for the day when we will break free from our cocoon and become the beautiful truth we waited for. He says, it's not that we are not aware of the eternal truth that our body is perishable and it is diminishing with every passing moment. But "I am the body" idea has such a powerful grip on us that we tend to assume this body as the truth, when we know it is not. He says, One must come to his senses and realise that, a day will come when he will wake up and  will find that there won't be any more time left to do the things which were expected to be done in this rarest of rare human birth.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, all our worldly relations and possessions are but offsprings of our body centric thinking. They are as fleeting and impermanent as the body. We have nothing that is really our own, but we hold everything as a loan, so is this body in human birth which must be employed consciously to know the True Nature of our Self.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, time is running out with every flutter of an eyelash. We must make a conscious effort to make sure that every moment of this precious human birth counts."
