" The human birth is attained after an evolution of many millions of years  in the cycles of transmigration of Spirit Soul. Beneath this mortal body seen by the world of man is an Immortal Spirit unseen by world of man. This mortal human body is a vehicle for the conscious mind to seek Infinite Consciousness. It is a rare and very important boat to cross over the ocean of nescience (Ignorance), which is our material existence. This boat of human life is destined to move to Spiritual Realisation, but on the way gets anchored to mundane consciousness by chains of our worldly attachments. Inculcating the Name Worship of Supreme Lord Shri Ram helps to severe these attachments in order to move slowly but steadily on the journey of Self Realisation. Human body is therefore a unique asset which transcends One from material realm to Supreme Consciousness, the abode of the Eternal Supreme Lord Shri Ram.
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about how One can utilise this bodily existence of human birth to One's benefit to become One with the Supreme Self. He says ,
It is indeed hilarious to seek death from God, as death is inevitable. Instead One must make a conscious use of this human body as a vehicle to transcend beyond the body consciousness to Supreme Consciousness by reciting the Holy Ram Nam incessantly. However to do so One needs a healthy body living for long. In a way it is a great paradox because despite knowing that body is bound to wane with every passing moment, we are seeking its health and long life. Nevertheless One has to live with it and hence make most of this rarest of rare human birth to attain Liberation from unending cycle of deaths and rebirths."
