It says ,
" Knowledge alone destroys the ignorance as light destroys deep darkness. The analogy of " Rope mistaken for snake " enables us to be free of misapprehension about our true Self which is Supreme Consciousness. Self realisation is knowing that we are not this body but we are different from it. Rope mistaken for a snake is similar to be in pain without being injured. One needs to make a conscious effort to let mind not deviate from the path of wisdom and to be free from burdens of worldly desires. Saint Tukaram Maharaj emphasises that indulgence into illusion of senses is similar to a parrot mesmerised by fragrance of lotus flower. However knowledge of Supreme Self will surely reveal that Self is always unbounded by its true nature.
The balance of sins and virtues is always zero. If zero is erased from number 10 then only digit 1 remains, in the similar way the zero that results from sum of virtues and sins in life symbolises the knowledge of Supreme Self.
Saint Tukaram Maharaj says that  blinding by veil of ignorance can be avoided by making a conscious effort. A gazalle cannot discern a mirage disguised as water hole in desert and hence regrets. Saint Tukaram Maharaj says that One needs to be sagacious, which enables him not to be mistaken by a mirage in desert as watering hole. In other words it is indeed  futile to chase the mirage of senses in life as this culminates only in sorrow. "
